Job summary

Holt Executive in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Senior Computer Vision Engineer to lead technical work on sensing, perception and autonomous navigation technologies.

You will design and implement advanced vision algorithms, contribute to subsystem architecture, and mentor engineers while coordinating with Systems, GNC, Flight Dynamics, Software and Hardware teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or another relevant discipline.
• 5+ years' industrial or research experience in computer vision algorithm development and deployment.
• Strong programming skills in Python, MATLAB, C and/or C++.
• Experience with OpenCV, TensorFlow and/or PyTorch.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced computer vision algorithms for object detection, tracking and 6DoF pose estimation.
• Contribute to computer vision subsystem architecture, requirements and performance budgets.
• Support the integration of computer vision algorithms into embedded and flight software.
• Lead verification and validation activities, including performance assessment and requirements verification.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure software and hardware performance and compatibility.
