Job summary

Boost inc is seeking an experienced Senior Compliance & Quality Engineer to drive regulatory certification, compliance, and quality management for unattended retail products. Based in London, you will own UKCA, CE, UL, and FCC processes and ensure QMS alignment across markets.

You will partner with engineering early in development to embed compliance by design, manage Technical Construction Files, and liaise with labs and regulators to keep audits clean and products market-ready.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in product compliance or quality engineering.
• Expert knowledge of international certification standards including CE Marking, UKCA, UL, and FCC.
• Experience managing Technical Files and conformity documentation.
• Ability to translate regulatory text into engineering requirements for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations (WEEE, packaging) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern the regulatory roadmap for all product lines.
• Lead certification lifecycle for UKCA, CE, UL, and FCC markings.
• Coordinate testing with external labs, notified bodies, and regulators.
• Manage Technical Construction Files and Declarations of Conformity to be audit-ready.
• Oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) and drive ISO 9001-aligned improvements.
• Promote Compliance by Design by integrating regulatory requirements in early design stages.
