Job summary

Bank of America in London is seeking a Compliance and Operational Risk Manager to oversee Regulatory Reporting (EPMD) across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The role requires credible challenge to stakeholders and strong regulatory interpretation of complex requirements.

You will collaborate with Front Office, Operations, Technology and Legal to embed robust controls and governance, and lead second-line oversight initiatives that support Responsible Growth and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Several years’ experience in financial services or related regulatory risk fields.
• Knowledge of EPMD or similar regulatory reporting regimes is a plus.
• Ability to analyse complex regulatory requirements and apply them to business processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-line compliance and operational risk oversight of EPMD across EMEA.
• Challenge and review regulatory changes, disclosures and remediation activities.
• Monitor and assess compliance with laws, rules, and regulations and the effectiveness of controls.
• Support development of training and governance around EPMD.
• Collaborate with front-line units, operations, technology and risk functions to ensure consistent oversight.
