Senior Compliance Manager - Monitoring and Reporting – Salary circa £70,000

We have an exciting opportunity for a senior compliance professional to join our newly established Group Compliance Monitoring and Reporting team. This role is ideal for a proactive team player with extensive experience in an FCA regulated environment, particularly in compliance or conduct risk. Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Head of Group Compliance and Conduct Monitoring and Reporting and the Group Compliance and Conduct Director to ensure effective operation of the function.
• Assisting in establishing and operating the new Group Compliance Monitoring and Reporting team.
• Assessing the effectiveness of 1st line compliance programs, conducting targeted risk-based reviews, and producing reports to optimize controls and promote good customer outcomes.
• Developing monitoring standards and innovative approaches, including data and technology integration.
• Preparing insightful regulatory compliance and conduct reports for the Group Board Risk Committee and Group Customer and Sustainability Committee.
• Building relationships with key stakeholders and delivering training on compliance and conduct matters.
• Supporting Solvency II compliance reviews as needed.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in Financial Services, especially with Conduct and Compliance teams.
• Ability to develop methodologies and frameworks.
• Proven track record in assurance, investigative work, and reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn about data-driven approaches.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with influencing ability.
