Job summary

Saab UK, part of Scandinavia's leading defence group, seeks an experienced Senior Compliance Engineer for its Fareham underwater robotics business. You will drive regulatory compliance, prepare technical files, and coordinate with internal teams and external labs to ensure all products meet CE/UL/FCC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Working knowledge EN 61010 and EN 60204 LVD safety standards.
• Working knowledge of EMC standards and CE/FCC directives.
• Experience with environmental testing under CE LVD safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products comply with CE, UL, FCC and industry standards.
• Create and maintain technical files and declarations.
• Monitor new regulations and assess impact on products.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external labs for testing.
• Provide guidance to design teams to achieve compliance.
• Present compliance status to stakeholders and auditors.
• Participate in design reviews and product release for compliance.
• Travel nationally and occasionally internationally.
