Job summary
Babcock International is seeking a Senior Compliance Engineer in Plymouth, Devon, to lead the Compliance Engineering function within the Non-Nuclear Plant Management team. You will drive asset compliance, monitor health, manage risks, and provide governance for informed investment decisions.
In this role you will oversee compliance activities, asset health, and risk management across site assets, with reporting to support decision-making and lifecycle planning. Security clearance is required.
Qualifications
- Awareness of applicable statutory legislation.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Maximo or other CAFM systems.
- Experience overseeing compliance, asset health and risk management activities.
- Ability to analyse and present management information to support decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead compliance engineering activities across non-nuclear site assets.
- Monitor asset health, compliance performance and risks.
- Produce and present management information to support decisions.
- Maintain governance arrangements and ensure compliance obligations are met.
- Support asset lifecycle, disposal and investment planning with stakeholders.
