Company Description

Legal & General (L&G) is a leading UK financial services group and major global investor.

We've been safeguarding people's financial futures since 1836, and strive to build a better society, while improving the lives of our customers and creating value for shareholders.

We are one of the world's largest asset managers and provide powerful asset origination capabilities. These underpin our retirement and protection solutions: we are an international player in pension risk transfer, in UK and US life insurance, and in UK workplace pensions and retirement income.

L&G Asset Management is one of Europe's largest asset managers, offering complex, responsible investment solutions across public and private markets. As a global investor, we are present where our clients most need us - from Hong Kong and Singapore, to Chicago and major European financial hubs.

Created by combining our investment management (LGIM) and asset origination (LGC) capabilities, our Asset Management division collaborates with our Institutional Retirement and Retail divisions to benefit our clients and customers, including individual savers, pension scheme members, and global institutions, delivering enhanced shareholder returns.

Joining us means becoming part of a market-leading team, with capabilities across all asset classes, committed to responsible investment and creating long-term, sustainable value for our clients and partners.

Job Description

We're recruiting for a Senior Compliance Analyst to join us. You will work within the Compliance team to provide high-quality compliance support to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and Head of Regulatory Engagement. Your role involves engaging with key regulators, analyzing regulatory changes, and supporting the CCO's office. The ideal candidate will have a background in asset management, strong communication skills, and good organizational abilities, including prioritization skills.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Assisting with internal and regulatory engagements, including meeting planning, minutes, action tracking, and maintaining records of all regulatory contact.
  2. Analyzing emerging regulation and assessing its impact on LGIM.
  3. Supporting the CCO with projects, producing management information, reports, presentations, and briefing notes.
  4. Reviewing compliance policies and procedures, and assisting in producing internal communication materials to promote awareness.
  5. Maintaining knowledge of Group policies, compliance, and conduct risk requirements, staying updated on changes.
  6. Supporting the wider global Risk and Compliance team to achieve optimal outcomes.
Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

  1. A good standard of education.
  2. Strong analytical skills and awareness of emerging regulation.
  3. High attention to detail and effective working both independently and in a team.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Proactive in developing effective methods and tools for record management.
  6. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships within the team.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package including performance bonuses, share schemes, pension contributions, life assurance, healthcare, generous holiday allowance, family leave, electric car schemes, discounts, and modern office spaces designed for collaboration and wellbeing.

Additional Information

At L&G, we believe in generating positive returns today while building a better future for all. We foster an inclusive culture with opportunities for collaboration across diverse backgrounds. We support flexible working arrangements and value potential and strengths over strict criteria. Join us to be part of a purpose-driven organization committed to your growth and wellbeing.
