Job summary

Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) is seeking a Complex Case Officer in our Special Educational Needs (SEN) Service to make a tangible difference for children with additional needs. You will manage casework with care, ensuring EHCPs are prepared, reviewed and updated in line with the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEN Code of Practice.

Based in the Borough for 3 days a week, you will liaise with schools, parents, social workers and health professionals to coordinate joined‑up

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex casework for SEN pupils.
• Knowledge of Children and Families Act 2014 and SEN Code of Practice.
• Ability to liaise with schools, families and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Manage statutory and non-statutory SEN casework.
• Prepare and update EHCPs.
• Coordinate multi‑agency support and monitor progress.
