What Is the Opportunity?

Travelers Europe is looking to hire a Senior Compensation Analyst! In this role, you will provide a full range of compensation services for our Europe businesses in partnership with Human Resources (HR) and Compensation leadership. Your focus will be on designing competitive and cost-effective total compensation programs, practices, and solutions to foster a high-performance culture.

Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility for hybrid work arrangements, allowing employees to work three days in the office and two days remotely, subject to policy changes.

What Will You Do?
  • Advise, consult, and assist HR Generalists and clients on compensation administration, policy interpretation, job design, and related issues.
  • Perform market pricing, job evaluation, survey participation, data analysis, and compensation program administration.
  • Support business initiatives with compensation tools and strategies.
  • Develop knowledge of the business area, analyze data, monitor trends, and recommend improvements for retention and motivation.
  • Guide on compensation aspects of new hire packages, including base salary, bonuses, and equity considerations.
  • Provide management with reports, data analysis, and summaries for decision-making.
  • Assist in developing and revising job descriptions, ensuring clarity and inclusiveness.
  • Provide guidance on job structuring and organizational design issues.
  • Ensure HR team and managers are equipped to manage performance and compensation effectively.
  • Design and deliver compensation-related training as needed.
  • Lead complex or sensitive projects, and prepare reports for executive review.
  • Support the compensation team and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, embodying company values of being committed, connected, creative, and energized.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
  • A degree in Maths, Statistics, Economics, HR, or Business Administration.
  • Experience and knowledge of compensation laws, market analysis, and pay structure design.
  • Experience with pricing roles across jurisdictions and currencies, workforce planning, and HR metrics.
  • Familiarity with HR systems like PeopleSoft or Workday, and reporting tools like Cognos.
  • Intermediate analytical, influencing, communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and related software; ability to create graphs, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables.
  • CIPD qualification is preferred.
What is a Must Have?
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a compensation role, including job evaluation, role pricing, survey data handling, and HR metrics analysis.
