We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our Intermediate Care Rehabilitation Therapy Team based within the East Dorset Locality.
The role involves providing Physiotherapy assessments and treatments to patients with acute illnesses to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions, facilitate complex discharges, and support patients with long-term goals. The work is primarily community-based but may include work on the ward within the local Community Hospital. The successful candidate must hold a valid UK Driving License and have access to a car.

The role involves providing Physiotherapy assessments and treatments to people in their homes, care homes, or on Community Hospital wards, depending on the locality. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care, ensuring safety, privacy, and dignity. You will manage a caseload, provide specialist advice, develop care programmes for other professionals, and act as a role model promoting the Trust's core behaviours.
Employment requires an Enhanced DBS check, which the Trust covers. Applicants subscribed to the DBS update service can present a valid certificate instead of a new check.
