Job summary

Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice in Cheltenham is seeking Bank Senior Healthcare Assistants to join the Community Team, visiting patients in their homes and providing compassionate palliative care alongside the Hospice at Home service.

This ad hoc Bank role offers shift patterns across days, nights and weekends, £13.12 per hour plus holiday pay and a 30% enhancement for nights and weekends, with extensive benefits and induction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year UK health or social care experience.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Awareness of person-centred and inclusive care principles.
• Strong communication and observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote choice in the delivery of care and support.
• Observe service users' conditions and report changes.
• Support service users to have their views considered in how care is provided.
• Visit people in their own homes as part of the Hospice at Home service.
