Job summary

Procare Community Services is seeking an experienced Operational Team Leader for our community nursing service in Guildford. You will lead a team delivering safe, compassionate home-based care, coordinating with Clinical Leads and District Nurses to maintain high professional standards.

The role balances 40% clinical practice with 60% leadership and management, driving staff development and continuous service improvement. Monday–Sunday shifts may apply, with driving as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered Level 1 Nurse with current NMC registration.
• DN SPQ completed.
• Clinical Supervisor certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership across Guildford and Waverley Community Nursing.
• Lead and support a dedicated community nursing team and coordinate patient care.
• Contribute to clinical governance and service improvement.
• Support staff development and performance reviews.
