Join HCRG Care Group as a Senior Community Carer in Surrey/Guildford to deliver safe, high-quality care to children with complex medical needs in their homes and community settings.

You will guide and mentor colleagues, support service development, and work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure personalised and effective care. This role involves 24/7 service with night shifts and weekend rotations, and requires a driving licence and car for work.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health or Social Care or recognised Nursery Nurse qualification.
• British Sign Language Level 1 or Makaton.
• Experience supporting children with complex health needs in home settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Full driving licence and access to a car.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality care to children and young people with complex health needs, following care plans and safeguarding procedures.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with children, families, and colleagues; adapt when needed.
• Upscale concerns or changes in a child’s condition to the Clinical Case Manager.
• Ensure safe use of clinical equipment and maintain competency in relevant procedures.
• Mentor and train colleagues to maintain high standards of care.
• Work as a lone worker, prioritising workload while seeking guidance as required.
