Job summary

Puttenham Hill House Care Home in Guildford is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to run a unit, support clinical duties with the nurse, and deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care to residents.

We’ll train you in digital care, provide permanent day shifts, and offer a range of benefits. NVQ3 in care is preferred, with a supportive, close‑knit team focused on kindness and dignity for every resident.

Qualifications

• You’ll have completed / working towards an NVQ3 in care.
• You're motivated, positive and with great interpersonal skills, and you enjoy working in a close-knit team.
• You have previous experience in the role and a passion for making a real difference to people’s lives, giving them kindness and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit.
• Support with clinical duties, including observing, issuing medication, reviewing care plans and accurate record keeping.
• Drive and manage a team of Care Assistants, including shift handovers.
