Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with professional registration (NMC).
• District Nursing Practitioner qualification with Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) or Advanced Clinical Skills and V300 prescribing with leadership training.
• Leadership program or equivalent leadership qualification required.
• Practice assessor/supervisor qualification expected.
• Registered Mentor status is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide highly specialist clinical care to own caseload within the district nursing service.
• Ensure practice aligns with professional standards and evidence-based guidelines; develop innovative clinical practices.
• Maintain robust communication with patients, carers, GPs and other professionals; role model compassionate leadership.
