Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Community Nursing Deputy Team Lead to work with the Team Lead in Ponteland. You will supervise, plan and evaluate district nursing care, while guiding and motivating the team to deliver high-quality patient care.

You will establish effective communication with patients, families, GPs and allied professionals, modelling compassionate leadership and promoting quality improvement within the service.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse
• Professional knowledge acquired through degree or equivalent level of experience or knowledge
• Practice Assessor
• Registered Mentor: Mentor supervisor/Assessor
• District Nursing Practitioner qualification or Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) & Advanced Clinical Skills

Responsabilités

• Planning and delivery of the District Nursing services within a designated area.
• Leading a team of Community Nurses and providing professional development reviews.
• Maintaining accountability for own practice and coaching others for high performance.
• Developing communication with patients, carers, GPs and other professionals.
