Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Main area Community Forensic Mental Health Nurse at Band 6. The role is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours weekly), based in Bodmin with travel across Cornwall as needed.

A robust forensic mental health service provides MDT support and opportunities for professional development. The post requires a Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration and relevant experience in forensic/community settings.

Qualifications

• Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience in adult community mental health/forensic settings.
• Experience managing a caseload and direct supervision where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide care coordination and specialist community forensic team interventions.
• Manage a caseload in community/secure settings, including travel across Cornwall.
• Act as MoJ social supervisor for identified clients.
