Nacro, Northampton-based charity, is seeking a Community Engagement Officer to work with the Management Team to engage the wider community, develop partnerships and identify collaboration opportunities to meet the needs of our clients.

You will oversee a team of mentors and volunteers who support those serving or recently released from prison, helping them overcome barriers and re-integrate into the community with effective VPS approaches and safeguarding practices.

Qualifications

• Familiar with the local area.
• Positive, flexible, can-do attitude.
• Good IT skills and ability to communicate with volunteers and the wider community.
• Commitment to equal opportunities, diversity and safeguarding.
• Effective training delivery skills and ability to design/evaluate VPS approaches.
