Job summary

Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Commissioning Manager for the Placement Team to lead on the commissioning and contract management of health and social care services across home care, supported living, residential, and nursing settings for mental health needs.

You will engage with stakeholders, including people with lived experience, to shape commissioning activity and drive market shaping, procurement and service improvements.

Qualifications

• Relevant first degree and advanced professional knowledge through diploma level training or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a commissioner-provider environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning and contract management of health and social care secondary commissioning.
• Engage with stakeholders and people with lived experience to ensure involvement in commissioning activity.
• Deliver commissioning projects, market shaping, and procurement across service user need groups.
• Manage a team of contract and quality officers performing PAMMS assessments and annual contract audits.
• Maintain data systems including service finding spreadsheet, PARIS and ACSIS, and an e-brokerage system.
