Job summary

Mic helmores LLP in the UK is seeking a Commercial lawyer at Senior Associate or Managing Associate level to join our Commercial Team, based from Bristol, Cambridge or Exeter. You will handle a broad range of non-contentious and contentious commercial matters for technology-focused clients.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience, with a track record advising fast-growth businesses through to large corporates.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of post-qualified UK law firm experience in Commercial/Technology.
• Experience advising fast growth and large corporates.
• Experience in marketing initiatives and seminars.

Responsibilities

• Commercial agreements, including standard terms of supply and purchase of goods and/or services.
• IT software licences and SaaS agreements.
• IT system integrations.
• Franchising, concessions, agency.
• Managed services and outsourcing agreements.
• Advice on protection, management and exploitation of intellectual property (including drafting assignments/licences).
• International trade.
• Consumer protection.
• Data protection in commercial agreements.
• Transactional due diligence from a commercial/contract/IP/data-protection perspective.
