Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is partnering with a North West solar company to appoint a Commercial Solar Operations Manager. The role leads the commercial solar division, shaping a repeatable operating model and guiding projects from feasibility to handover, with strong emphasis on systems, processes and cost control.

The ideal candidate has a solid electrical background and a proven track record delivering commercial solar PV or related distributed-energy projects, with hybrid working arrangements

Qualifications

• Experience delivering commercial solar PV projects.
• Strong electrical background and practical design awareness.
• Able to take projects from feasibility through to delivery with cost control.

Responsibilities

• Build a repeatable operating model from qualified sales through to commissioning and handover.
• Create standard product options, scopes, exclusions, survey requirements and approval routes.
• Lead feasibility reviews, surveys and prepare RAMS, cost inputs and installer instructions.
• Coordinate cost inputs for labour, scaffolding, civils, logistics and design.
• Ensure proposals are deliverable as sold and manage risks and variations.
• Own mobilisation and delivery post-handover, maintaining customer communications and quality.
• Identify and manage installation partners, suppliers and specialists.
