Job summary

Valoris Group, recruiting on behalf of a growing renewable energy business, seeks an Install Manager for Solar PV and battery storage installations across domestic and commercial sites in Hampshire and the South Coast.

You will organize, lead and oversee installations, working with electricians, roofers and subcontractors, combining hands-on delivery with project leadership from day one.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on Solar PV installation experience.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• Testing and Inspection qualifications such as 2391 or equivalent.
• Experience leading installations or supervising others.
• Strong organisation and communication skills with a practical approach.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South Coast.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support electricians, roofers and subcontractors across domestic and commercial Solar PV and battery storage projects.
• Carry out electrical installation work, testing, commissioning and consumer unit upgrades during the initial period.
• Plan site delivery with the operations team, organising labour, materials and schedules.
• Maintain quality and safety, monitor workmanship and resolve technical issues.
• Manage completion and handover, ensuring documentation and certifications are correct.
• Support teams and customers, provide practical guidance and keep operations informed.
