Job summary
LAB is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Service Engineer to join its expanding engineering team in the UK. You will service and maintain commercial refrigeration systems, carry out reactive repairs and preventative maintenance, and diagnose faults across a range of equipment for blue-chip clients.
The role requires NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, current F-Gas certification, EN 378 knowledge, and a full UK driving licence.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in commercial refrigeration service and maintenance.
- NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.
- Current F-Gas certification and EN 378 knowledge.
- Strong ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Servicing and maintaining commercial refrigeration systems and equipment.
- Responding to reactive service calls and diagnosing faults.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to maximise reliability.
- Reading technical drawings, wiring diagrams and manufacturers' information.
- Producing clear service reports and liaising with clients and internal teams.
