Job summary

Yorkshire Water is seeking a Commercial Services professional to support planning, governance and performance management. You will work across the function to provide visibility of priorities, risks and delivery progress, guiding leaders with insight and recommendations.

You will help develop governance reporting and cross-functional coordination, ensuring robust decision making and alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting planning, governance, performance or business management in a complex environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management with credibility at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with practical recommendations.
• Experience identifying risks, dependencies, priorities and competing demands.
• Ability to facilitate discussions, build consensus and support decision making.
• Excellent organisational skills with multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to translate complexity clearly.
• Experience developing governance processes or reporting frameworks.
• Advanced MS Office skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint.
• Comfort with digital and AI-enabled analytics tools for insights.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and prioritisation activities across Commercial Services.
• Maintain visibility of key priorities, risks, dependencies and delivery challenges.
• Lead governance and performance review forums with clear actions and decisions.
• Facilitate discussions with leaders, providing insight and recommendations.
• Oversee KPI reporting and performance measures for visibility.
• Collaborate with Commercial Intelligence to translate data into insight.
• Identify risks and dependencies impacting delivery.
• Develop governance processes, standards and tools.
• Coordinate cross-team activities for alignment and visibility.
