Job summary

AWE Reading, UK, seeks a Senior Commercial Performance Manager to drive reporting cadence and performance insights. You will ensure accurate pipeline reporting and maintain the Commercial reporting framework for key programmes, aligning with the business plan and executive expectations.

You will partner with senior stakeholders, including up to C-suite levels, to translate data into actionable commercial outcomes while navigating a flexible, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have proven professional experience.
• Experience in a Procurement/Commercial function.
• Experience designing or managing commercial performance frameworks.
• Experience with supporting senior stakeholders and reporting to C-suite level.
• Experience in cross-functional reporting to derive a single view of performance.
• Data analysis and storytelling skills.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to develop cadence for Commercial reporting and provide ad hoc reporting support.
• Monitor performance against the Commercial strategy and identify improvements.
• Ensure accurate Commercial pipeline reporting for planning and external reporting.
• Establish and maintain the Commercial reporting framework for key programmes.

Senior Commercial Performance Manager

Package: £63,270 to £85k (depending on experience)

Location: Reading, with free onsite parking.

Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight, with every other Friday as a non-working day. This role is eligible for hybrid working, meaning employees typically spend three days on site in a long week and two days on site in a short week. We support flexible working where possible, including part-time and varied working hours, so please let us know if you would like us to consider an alternative working arrangement when you apply.

TheSenior Commercial Performance Manager is accountablefor ensuringCommercialfunctionalperformance ismeasured and reported, accurately reflecting Commercial's role in supporting delivery of the AWE Business Plan.They will ensure functional performance isvisibleand key informationmade available to Commercial leadership andtheAWEexecutive teamto keep Commercial accountable for its performance, highlightingopportunities,issuesand challenges in delivery of theCommercial functional strategywhich supports the delivery of AWE's mission.

This role will report into the Principal Commercial Performance, Insights & Reporting Manager.

Key Accountabilities

• Leading the team todevelopthecadence forCommercial functional andleadership reporting andprovidingad hoc reporting support, coordinating allinputsand providing strategic narrative.
• Activelymonitorsperformance against the Commercial functional strategy, identifying opportunities to improve, challenges and remedial options.
• Accountable for ensuringaccurateCommercial pipeline reporting to support effective planning, externalreportingandprioritisation.
• Accountable forestablishingand maintaining theCommercial reporting framework for key programmes and projects critical to the delivery of AWE's mission.
