AWE in Reading is seeking a Principal Commercial Performance, Insights & Reporting Manager to lead the development of strategic commercial insights that drive value and decision-making across Commercial. The role oversees performance measurement, KPIs and analytics to improve outcomes, reporting to the Head of Commercial Insights, Process and Systems.

The role will require building a fit-for-purpose reporting catalogue and strong stakeholder engagement to influence commercial delivery of the AWE

Qualifications

• Must have proven professional experience.
• Experience of working in a Procurement / Commercial function.
• Experience of leading teams of experienced data insights and reporting specialists.
• Proven track record of designing and managing commercial performance frameworks.
• Familiarity with commercial governance structures, audit requirements and executive-level reporting requirements.
• Commercial acumen.
• Advanced data analysis and storytelling skills.
• Deep understanding of commercial performance levers.
• A natural analytical thinker with ability to align business priorities to commercial outcomes.
• Highly skilled in stakeholder management, with ability to deploy effective tools and strategies to create business alignment and influence decision making.
• Comfortable with a degree of ambiguity and changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership skills.

Principal Commercial Performance, Insights & Reporting Manager

Package: £63,270 to £85k (depending on experience)

Location: Reading, with free onsite parking.

Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight, with every other Friday as a non-working day. This role is eligible for hybrid working, meaning employees typically spend three days on site in a long week and two days on site in a short week. We support flexible working where possible, including part-time and varied working hours, so please let us know if you would like us to consider an alternative working arrangement when you apply.

The Principal Commercial Performance, Insights & Reporting Manager is accountable forleading the development and delivery of strategic commercial insights that drive value,performanceand decision-making across Commercial.The role oversees the implementation of performance measurement, key performanceindicatorsand analytics to drive improved commercial outcomes.Providingactionable insight across all aspects of Commercial functional and team performance, underpinned byaccurate, actionable data, the role is critical for ensuring Commercialcan reportand acteffectively to support commercial delivery of the AWE mission.

This role will report to the Head of Commercial Insights, Process and Systems.

Key Accountabilities:

• Accountable for defining and executing the Commercial performance, insights and reporting strategy, aligned to the Commercial functional strategy.

• Managing and fostering effective relationships with external governing bodies providing visibility and influence of any change (MOD, DNO, CAB) andidentifyingopportunities for collaboration across insights and reporting.

• Leading the team onworking with all Commercial teams tobuild andmaintaina fit-for-purpose commercialperformance reporting catalogue.

• Ensuring the team workclosely with the Commercial delivery teams and Governance & Assurance team to support in coordinating and reporting of the forward plan and pipeline.

• Leading the team to provideCommercialinsight-ledspend data analyticsand reporting.

• Managing the team to ensureCommercial data integrity.

• Leading the teaminproviding the Commercial function withcommercialinsight to inform commercial strategy and decision-making.
