Job summary

Chase Taylor Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading commercial glazing specialist for an experienced Commercial Head of Operations in the UK. You will lead the commercial operations function, oversee project delivery, and drive continuous improvement across multi-project environments.

Reporting into senior leadership, you will develop new business opportunities, manage Contracts Managers and project teams, and ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to high quality standards while

Qualifications

• Senior operations management or contracts management experience within commercial glazing, façade, curtain walling, aluminium windows/doors, or wider construction.
• Proven track record delivering commercial projects while driving business growth.
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong negotiation, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the commercial operations team across multiple projects.
• Oversee projects from contract award through to completion.
• Manage and support Contracts Managers, Project Managers, Surveyors, and Installation teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered on programme, within budget, and to high quality standards.
• Drive operational performance, efficiency, and profitability; seek new business opportunities for growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Conduct sales surveys for refurbishment and commercial glazing projects and identify opportunities.
