Kenton Black Limited is recruiting an experienced Commercial Manager to join a leading UK infrastructure contractor on a major highways project in the North West. Based on site in Penrith, Cumbria, the role focuses on commercial performance, NEC governance and delivering value while maintaining profitability. Salary up to £92,000 plus a comprehensive Company Benefits Package; permanent contract. This is a hands-on, site-based role with exposure to complex contracts and high-value subcontracts.

• Proven experience in commercial management on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and contractual obligations.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial acumen to maximise value and protect profitability.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the commercial management of project activities, ensuring financial targets and contractual obligations are met.
• Manage cost control, forecasting, CVRs and commercial reporting.
• Oversee subcontract procurement, payments, variations and final accounts.
• Administer NEC contracts and manage change, compensation events and commercial risk.
• Identify opportunities to maximise value and protect project profitability.
• Work closely with operational teams, clients and subcontractors.
• Ensure robust commercial governance and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
