Mace Construct Limited is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to oversee cost management and risk for complex works packages at Heathrow terminals 3, 4 and 5. You will lead a team of professionals, manage subcontractor claims, draft technical and contractual correspondence, and ensure financial and legal compliance across two major projects.

The role requires NEC contract experience, a relevant degree, and CSCS certification.

Formación

• Degree in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management or equivalent.
• NEC 3 and NEC 4 contract experience.
• CSCS certification is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manages and provides leadership to a team of Managers and Professionals, ensuring the principles, structures, tools/capabilities and responsibilities are in place to deliver area plans and deliver excellence.
• Addresses subcontractor contractual claims and change.
• Produces monthly client application.
• Approves invoices and issues IPC.
• Drafts necessary technical and contractual correspondence.
• Commercially manages design consultants and specialist fees.
• Ensures site team acts within commercial and legal procedures and agreements.
• Communicates with clients and subcontractors.
• Focuses on cost, schedule, risk, and performance management throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Implements cost control, (integrating commercial role with planning/scheduling team), risk analysis, earned value management, forecasting, and change management.
• Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
