Informed Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to act as a specialist advisor across commercial, contractual and procurement functions for social housing projects.
The role focuses on leading commercial activities, advising on contract drafting, and managing a stock of core and bespoke agreements. You will work within a hybrid setup, based with regular presence in the Birmingham office, and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

The main purpose of the role is to lead the commercial and contract functions cross procurement frameworks and activity. Your day-to-day activities will include ensuring that contractual and commercial arrangements are robust, compliant and aligned to acceptable risk profiles; that responsibilities and liabilities are communicated; advise stakeholders on the drafting of contractual documentation; manage a stock of core contracts, forms, and bespoke agreements; support the award of new contracts and associated governance; utilise specialist subject matter expertise to advise on JCT contracts, RICS consultancy appointments, TAC-1/FAC/similar contracts, material supply & framework contracts, and pre-construction services agreements.
As an individual you will be an excellent communicator, adept at liaising and influencing at all levels with a variety of stakeholders. You will also be highly analytical with a keen eye for detail; you will be able to analyse data to reach clear conclusions and write clear evidence-based reports. You will also be a dedicated team player, reliable, forward-thinking and someone who strives for excellence. This role is hybrid based, with a regular presence required in the office in Birmingham on a 50/50 home-to-office ratio basis.
