Job summary

ERSG Ltd in the Midlands is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead commercial activities across a portfolio of renewable connection projects nationwide. The role requires experience with large-scale, high-value contracts and a strong commercial governance mindset.

You will oversee BESS, data centres, wind farms, and grid connection initiatives, operating from a Midlands base with hybrid working and nationwide project coverage. A senior leadership background in renewables is essential.

Qualifications

Strong, established Senior Commercial Management / Commercial Leadership experience.
Proven experience managing large-scale renewable connection projects.
Background across BESS, data centres, wind farms or associated energy infrastructure.
FIDIC experience is essential; JCT and NEC experience would be advantageous.
Strong experience managing lump-sum / fixed-price contracts.
Commercial responsibility across projects valued between £5m-£50m.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management and commercial governance experience.
Ability to operate nationally across a portfolio of projects.
Midlands-based with flexibility for hybrid working and nationwide project coverage.

Responsibilities

Provide strong commercial leadership across projects including BESS, data centres, wind farms, and renewable energy connections.
Oversee lump-sum / fixed-price contracts and related procurement.
Drive commercial governance and stakeholder engagement across a nationwide project portfolio.
Support the growth of renewable infrastructure within the energy portfolio.
