The role focuses on commercial management, procurement, contract administration, variations, and final account, with responsibility for forecasting, reporting and risk management.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience from procurement through final account.
• Experience in procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations and subcontract management.
• Solid understanding of construction processes and collaboration with delivery teams.
• Ability to manage commercial risk, cost and opportunities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially astute with focus on profit, cash, cost control and value.
• Degree in QS/Commercial Management or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the commercial management across the stages of delivery.
• Manage procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations and subcontract management through final account.
• Prepare accurate forecasting, reporting and commercial information.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with project, design, construction and supply chain teams to support delivery.
• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders and supply chain partners.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of commercial processes and project performance.
