We are looking for an exceptional Senior Commercial Lawyer to join our team, reporting to the General Counsel. In this role you will work with colleagues across our business to deliver new processes, products and third-party relationships while ensuring that legal risks are appropriately identified and managed.

You will...

• Lead legal’s partnership with business owners, advising on, negotiating and drafting B2B commercial contracts of all types;
• Advise our people team about employment law issues, including employment contracts, employee relations, people policies and procedures;
• Draft and review agreements, policies and procedures relating to confidential information and GDPR;
• Advise on the creation, maintenance and protection of our IP rights;
• Develop, maintain and implement internal policies and procedures for the appropriate management of commercial legal risk.

About you:

• You have at least 6 years of post-qualification experience.
• You have a strong knowledge of all the key aspects of commercial law and their practical application, including SaaS and other services contracts, employment, data privacy and IP.
• You have worked in an in-house legal function, preferably within the financial services industry.
• You have excellent communication and relationship management skills and the ability to deal with a range of internal and external stakeholders effectively.
