Are you a commercially minded lawyer with deep asset management experience looking for your next challenge?

A global investment firm with a collaborative legal team based in London is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel. This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with the business, influence strategic initiatives, and operate with autonomy.

You will join a supportive team of five lawyers, where your contributions will be valued from day one. The business is growing, providing a chance to bring innovative ideas and experience to shape the legal function’s future.

What you'll be doing:

1. Advising internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory issues
2. Negotiating commercial agreements including client, distribution, and platform contracts
3. Monitoring regulatory changes and advising the business accordingly
4. Driving new and ongoing initiatives independently

You’ll thrive here if you:

1. Have asset management experience (private practice or in-house)
2. Understand UK/EU regulatory frameworks and apply them commercially
