Job summary

GetRecruited UK Ltd in Coventry is seeking a Senior Commercial Broker to join the broking team, working alongside the Branch Director and leading from the front on a broad commercial book.

You'll manage a portfolio from small policies to GWP £400k, mentor less experienced brokers, and help shape how the team operates. This senior, office-based role offers a salary up to £50,000 with flexible working where needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of solid commercial broking experience.
• Strong mid-market knowledge across a wide range of premium sizes.
• Cert CII qualified or above.
• Acturis proficiency is important.
• A natural mentor who leads by example and brings others with them.
• Confident, organised and able to operate at a senior level within a busy broking environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing a broad mid-market commercial book across a wide range of risk sizes and classes.
• Acting as number two to the Branch Director - supporting leadership and direction of the broking team.
• Providing mentorship, technical guidance and day-to-day support to less experienced brokers.
• Broking risks to market and securing the best outcomes for clients across the full premium range.
• Working closely with the Branch Director on team performance, workflow and development.
• Maintaining high standards of compliance, accuracy and client service throughout.

Senior Commercial Broker - Coventry - Up to £50,000

Join an established, ambitious brokerage in Coventry and step into a pivotal role at the heart of the broking team - working alongside the Branch Director and leading from the front on a broad and varied commercial book.

This is a senior position for an experienced broker who's ready to take on more than just their own clients.You'll manage a diverse portfolio ranging from £5,000 policies through to clients with GWP of £400,000, provide hands-on support and mentorship to less experienced brokers, and act as the Branch Director's right hand in driving the team forward.

Salary: Up to £50,000
Location: Coventry
Working pattern: Primarily office based - flexible working available where required
