Job summary

Stride Resource Management Ltd seeks an experienced Commercial Account Executive to take over an established mid-corporate portfolio producing £200,000–£250,000 in income and to grow it through effective relationship management and cross-selling.

Expect to lead client relationships, oversee renewals, and work with insurers and internal teams to secure competitive terms. The package includes £60,000–£75,000 salary plus a £5,000 car allowance.

Qualifications

• Established Commercial Account Executive or equivalent with experience managing mid-corporate/ SME clients.
• Experience in transport insurance is useful but not essential; credibility and commercial awareness are key.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an inherited mid-corporate portfolio and act as senior relationship lead.
• Manage renewal strategies and conduct regular client reviews.
• Collaborate with broking, claims and risk colleagues to secure appropriate cover and terms.
• Develop existing accounts through cross-selling and wider risk management conversations.
• Identify new business opportunities via referrals and your network.
• Maintain strong retention while growing portfolio value over time.
