Job summary

Care Plus Group is seeking a permanent Senior Contracts and Commercial Lead. You will oversee contracts and SLAs, manage risk, pursue new business and grant funding, and advise on procurement and negotiations across the group’s portfolio.

The role requires a degree and substantial senior commercial experience. You will build relationships with commissioners and partners, prepare business cases, lead bids and deliver recommendations to senior management to support the Anchor Organisation agenda.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in business-related field.
• Postgraduate training relevant to the role.
• Substantial senior contracts/commercial experience in a complex organisation.
• Experience managing portfolios of contracts/SLA through performance issues, variations and renewals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial growth agenda and develop new business opportunities.
• Oversee contracts and SLAs, managing risk and performance.
• Maximise income generation and growth across the portfolio.
• Support income generation through grant funding and bids.
• Provide expertise on contracts, procurement and commercial negotiation.
• Build relationships with commissioners, partners and the charitable trust.
• Prepare business cases and present commercial recommendations to senior managers.
• Contribute to procurement and insurance arrangements, using specialist advisers.
• Support the group's ambition to become a recognised Anchor Organisation.
