The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years in commercial underwriting, strong analytical and communication skills, and a proactive mindset to grow SME and mid-market broker relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ commercial underwriting experience.
• Strong understanding of underwriting operations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building ability.
• Comfortable working independently in a home-based environment.
• Progress toward CII preferred.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new commercial risks (property & liability) with focus on SME and mid-market accounts.
• Review renewals and endorsements and assess associated risk.
• Manage workflow and ensure timely processing of cases.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve underwriting queries.
• Develop and strengthen broker relationships, including on-site visits when required.
• Stay up to date with regulations and underwriting standards, supporting wider initiatives.
