GlobalData is seeking a Commercial Legal Officer to join our UK Legal and Compliance team. You will draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including data-as-a-service and software-as-a-service agreements, NDAs, master service agreements, consultancy agreements, data protection agreements, IP licensing, variations, and public/private procurement contracts.

You will help ensure data protection compliance and support IP matters as needed.

Formación

• Law degree or equivalent.
• Experience in commercial law with understanding of contract principles.
• Paralegal experience in-house or at a law firm is preferred.
• Experience with UK/EU data protection laws.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial documents and agreements.
• Maintain records and manage the execution of agreements.
• Research points of law and regulation; advise head of legal and implement changes.
• Ensure compliance with global data privacy regimes using GDPR-aligned policies.
• Monitor regulatory changes and identify action gaps for the legal team.
• Draft new policies and procedures.
