Job summary

Airborne Environmental Consultants Ltd is hiring a Senior Commercial Surveyor to lead surveys on commercial properties across the UK. You will enter data on-site, review TEAMS reports, and ensure compliance with surveying legislation while mentoring junior surveyors.

Qualifications

• At least P402 qualified and ideally with a background of UKAS accredited consultancy, with a track record across commercial and domestic properties.
• Experience conducting Reinspection, management and refurbishment surveys in commercial buildings and ideally demolition surveys.

Responsibilities

• Carry out surveys on commercial properties.
• Enter information onto a tablet during surveys.
• Check/approve TEAMS reports and amend as needed.
• Understand legislation surrounding surveying.
• Competent in different survey types and progression within commercial/industrial properties.
• Mentor Trainee Surveyors on site.
• Establish and maintain relationships with colleagues and the public.
• Be willing to travel and participate in weekend rota as required.
• Adhere to vehicle policies and maintain assigned vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Carry out surveys on commercial properties.
• Entering all information onto a tablet whilst carrying out surveys.
• Checking and approving reports from the TEAMS system and making amendments where necessary.
• Fully understand legislation surrounding surveying.
• Be fully competent in carrying out different types of surveys.
• Develop your skill set and move onto commercial properties and then industrial
• Mentor Trainee Surveyors on site
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public.
• Be willing to work away from home and participate in a weekend rota as required.
• Adhere to company vehicle policies, ensuring safe driving and proper maintenance of the assigned vehicle.

Skill Set

At least P402 qualified and ideally with a background of working in a UKAS accredited consultancy, you will have a track record of undertaking a range of surveys across commercial and domestic properties. You will have experience conducting Reinspection, management and refurbishment surveys in commercial buildings and ideally experience in demolition surveys.

Your knowledge of current legislation and compliance should also be of an excellent standard.
