About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to join our Commercial Operations Insights & Data team. This role is pivotal in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making, optimise commercial performance, and enhance customer engagement. The successful candidate will analyse data from multiple sources, develop actionable insights, and work closely with stakeholders across sales, marketing, and customer success to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse customer acquisition, engagement, and retention trends to support commercial strategy.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Implement and refine attribution models to assess the effectiveness of commercial activities.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to provide insights that enhance pipeline management and revenue performance.
  • Monitor and assess campaign performance, identifying opportunities to improve conversion rates and customer lifetime value.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, actionable strategies.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across reporting tools, supporting the standardisation of data processes within the team.
  • Support forecasting and performance modelling to improve revenue predictability and resource allocation.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, attribution modelling, and commercial optimisation.
  • Strong experience in data analysis and reporting, ideally within a commercial or revenue-focused team.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as Power BI.
  • Experience with CRM, Sales and marketing automation and analysis.
  • Experience using MS Fabric, SQL Server ETL tools to extract and analyse data.
  • Solid understanding of multi-channel attribution and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Ability to manipulate large datasets and extract insights using Excel, SQL, or Python.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and drive strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making in a data-driven environment.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or technology-driven businesses.
  • Knowledge of forecasting and predictive modelling techniques.
  • Familiarity with data governance best practices and data quality management.
