Job summary

VML is a global creative company known for brand experience, customer experience and commerce. We seek a Senior Consultant to lead commerce transformation initiatives, connect diagnostic findings to action, and collaborate across creative, CX and commerce teams in a hybrid London setup.

You will own client relationships, develop workshops, and contribute to growth opportunities within major accounts while guiding junior colleagues and shaping our practice IP.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional consulting or strategy experience.
• Deep understanding of commerce ecosystems and channel strategy.
• Working knowledge of AI discoverability and related tech.
• Proven ability to lead projects independently with scope and quality.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking with a commercial focus.
• Excellent communication and executive presence with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium-scale projects end-to-end with scope, quality and timelines.
• Design and deliver strategic recommendations across commerce transformation and AI-enabled discovery.
• Identify growth opportunities within accounts and contribute to proposals.
• Coach and develop junior consultants and potentially line-manage 1–2 team members.
• Collaborate across WPP’s integrated network to connect consulting outputs to execution.
