Job summary

ScottishPower is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead end-to-end collections operations, shaping strategy across payments, arrears and recovery. You will drive performance with data-driven insight, improve operating models, and balance recovery with fair customer treatment.

You’ll oversee a robust control framework, collaborate with teams and external partners, and push for cost-effective delivery while supporting Net Zero ambitions.

Qualifications

• Experience in collections or debt operations within a regulated environment.
• Strong data-driven decision making and use of MI to shape strategy.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Own arrears and bad debt performance against targets and shape collections strategy.
• Lead regular performance reviews and drive a clear roadmap across people, processes, controls and technology.
• Monitor key metrics like arrears flow, cure rates, and payment commitments, escalating where needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-standard collections activity.
• Ensure cost-efficient delivery through smart planning and continuous improvement.
