Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking a senior systems engineering leader to drive delivery across Digital Cockpit and Body Systems. You will set technical direction, govern the delivery backlog, and ensure timely, quality, and cost-effective outcomes across programmes.

Lead a high performing team, manage suppliers and budgets, and collaborate with engineering and business functions to translate priorities into robust delivery plans.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading systems engineering delivery in complex engineering environments.
• Strong governance of delivery backlog and cross-program coordination.
• Proven ability to govern a delivery backlog with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the systems engineering strategy for Digital Cockpit and Body Systems.
• Own the feature backlog end-to-end and translate priorities into delivery plans.
• Build trusted relationships across engineering, programme, platform and business teams.
• Represent the function in tooling and methods working groups and drive adoption of best practices.
• Plan headcount, manage suppliers and budget to meet commitments with accountability.
• Define and monitor delivery, quality and systems maturity metrics.
