Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking a Senior Manager for Cockpit Systems in Woking. The role leads systems engineering across Digital Cockpit and Body Systems, setting technical direction and governance for multi-program delivery.

You will own the feature backlog end-to-end, translate priorities into delivery plans, and lead cross-functional teams, suppliers and budget control to meet quality, timing and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in engineering (or equivalent) with strong systems engineering methods and governance.
• Extensive experience leading systems engineering delivery in complex automotive or high-performance engineering environments.
• Proven ability to own and govern a delivery backlog across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the systems engineering strategy for Digital Cockpit and Body Systems.
• Own the feature backlog end-to-end and govern scope and trade-offs.
• Lead cross-functional teams, align priorities, surface risks and drive delivery governance.
• Oversee budgeting, resourcing and supplier management; ensure delivery within time and cost targets.
• Define delivery performance metrics and drive improvements across programs.
