Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Nottinghamshire is seeking an experienced Coach Builder / Fabricator to join a leading commercial bodyshop. You will perform body fitting, welding, and fabrication on light and heavy commercial vehicles to meet manufacturer standards.

The role offers a competitive salary around £50,000, Monday to Friday 8:00am–5:00pm, with overtime at enhanced rates, and a supportive team with state-of-the-art facilities and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on commercial vehicles (HGVs, vans, or similar).
• Skilled in welding, structural repairs and vehicle fabrication.
• Strong attention to detail with pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out body fitting and fabrication work on light and heavy commercial vehicles.
• Strip, refit, and repair vehicle body components.
• Replacing panels and structural parts, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Welding, fabrication, and coach building tasks to restore vehicles to manufacturer specifications.
• Collaborating with workshop colleagues to ensure efficient turnaround times.
• Maintaining high standards of safety and quality throughout all tasks.
