Job summary

COACH BUILDERS in Batley is seeking experienced coach builders to join a specialist vehicle manufacturer on bespoke projects. You will build and fit vehicle bodies, structures and components, following engineering drawings and specs, and using hand and power tools safely.

Working on non-repetitive, high-spec builds, you’ll contribute to projects from concept to delivery, maintain quality, safety and deadlines, and grow your skills within a skilled team of engineers and tradespeople.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in coach building, vehicle body building, mechanical fitting or related trade.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Comfort with a wide range of hand and power tools.
• Pride in workmanship and working to high quality standards.
• Ability to work accurately without supervision and meet deadlines.
• Enjoy solving problems when plans change.

Responsibilities

• Building and fitting vehicle bodies, structures and components.
