Job summary

Cisco in the UK is seeking a Senior Network Support Engineer for its CNS team, supporting mission-critical enterprise and public sector customers with strict UK Data Sovereignty mandates. You will act as primary interface for UK data concerns and route complex issues to global Cisco Support and TAC.

You will use AI-assisted tools to desensitise data, accelerate triage, and drive CSI across service delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in network engineering, technical support, or incident management operations.
• 5+ years diagnosing and troubleshooting enterprise networking (Routing, Switching, Security, IOS-XE/NX-OS).
• Experience applying AI tools/LLMs to technical workflows.
• Experience with data handling protocols and sovereign data frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary interface for UK Data Sovereignty customers into global Cisco support.
• Analyse and de-sensitise critical customer network data for routing to global Cisco Support/TAC.
• Lead AI-assisted incident triage and data sanitisation workflows to speed resolution.
• Coordinate incidents with Cisco TAC and communicate remediation plans to customers.
• Mentor engineers and drive Continual Service Improvement (CSI) across teams.
