Job summary

624 Cisco International Limited is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer – AI & Connectivity Specialist for the UK & Ireland. You will bridge infrastructure, software, and AI to deliver enterprise-grade, secure AI-enabled deployments.

You will lead end-to-end projects, align with partners, and design scalable architectures while engaging with executives and technical teams to drive successful implementations across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of systems engineering or solution architecture experience in AI, data center or cloud infra vendors.
• Proven success in UK & Ireland enterprise or public sector markets.
• Deep Kubernetes/container orchestration and microservices understanding.
• Strong networking, security, and API-driven automation knowledge.
• Excellent ability to describe complex concepts to executives and technical audiences.
• Experience driving technical sales engagements and managing complex deal cycles.

Responsibilities

• Lead customers from AI use case ideation to full-scale implementation.
• Align Cisco AI stack with ISV and industry partners for end-to-end solutions.
• Architect robust, scalable, and secure AI-enabled infrastructure.
• Design POV projects to validate performance and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with product engineering and represent Cisco at industry events.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

5+ years experience in systems engineering or solution architecture

Kubernetes and container orchestration

Microservices architecture

Networking protocols and security frameworks

API-driven automation

Executive communication and stakeholder management
