Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited are recruiting for a CNC Sliding Head Lathe Setter/Operator in Southwell, Nottinghamshire. You will program, set and operate Swiss-type sliding head CNC lathes to produce high-precision, high-volume components on a 37.5 hour week with a two-week days/nights rotation.

Full-time permanent role with training, qualifications, overtime and pension benefits. The position is commutable from Nottingham, Newark-on-Trent and surrounding towns.

Qualifications

• Proven experience programming, setting and operating Swiss-type sliding head CNC lathes (Star/Citizen/Tornos)
• Comfortable working to tight tolerances from engineering drawings in a fast-paced, high-precision environment
• Familiar with Fanuc CNC control systems (other controls considered)

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate Swiss-type sliding head CNC lathes producing high-precision, high-volume components
• Site-based in Southwell
• Shift pattern: 2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights with overtime available
